A nine-year-old boy from Castleknock in Dublin has been signed to football club Barcelona.

The Sun reports that Zak Gilsenan is to join the FCBEscola football academy which produced legends like Xavi, Iniesta and Zak's favourite player Lionel Messi.

It comes after he beat 400 other boys at a trial, by scoring an impressive seven goals.

The Gilsenan family will all move to Spain to support the young star.
