Yarmouth are to hold a precautionary inspection at 7.30am ahead of tomorrow's evening meeting due to the prospect of more rain.
The going is already described as heavy and amounts between eight and 33 millimetres are forecast which would put the fixture in serious doubt.
"We've had three millimetres of rain today and we are heavy," said clerk of the course Richard Aldous.
"The forecast ranges between eight and 33 millimetres. I think it can take between five and seven, I'm not sure, but if we get anywhere around 10 or more I'd be very worried."
