Dibayani bids to add his name to an illustrious list of winners of the Darley EBF Maiden at the Curragh on Sunday.

Teofilo arrived on the scene in this race in 2006, closely followed by another Jim Bolger-trained superstar in New Approach 12 months later.

The great Sea The Stars made his racecourse debut in the 2010 renewal but was only fourth behind Driving Snow, while 2010 winner Pathfork went on to land the National Stakes.

Trainer Michael Halford knows it will take some winning but thinks a lot of his youngster, who was second on his debut behind The United States on Irish Derby weekend.

That form was boosted when Nevis, fourth that day, won at Leopardstown on Thursday night to earn quotes of around 20-1 for the Investec Derby.

Halford said: "He's in good order. It's always a very good maiden and some very good horses have won it and been beaten in it.

"His first run was a great effort for his first time and he's gone the right way since. He handled the bad ground well on his debut but he wouldn't necessarily need it. He's very good."
